1st day we had to report in sch at 7 to pack all e food and stuff to bring dere. becoz of tt i had to take out e smaller bag which i squeezed into e big bag to put in e things my grp has to bring. so in e end i had to carry 2 bags altogether and i lk totally stupid. by e time we reached dere it was ard 3+.. we had to carry our load up to our campsite. which means i had to carry my super big bag on my back and my smaller bag in front of mi and climb for 2 hrs. it was so tiring la!! mabbe w/o e smaller bag in front of mi it wud be better. my shoulders were aching by e time we reached e site but we were so glad!! haha~ we cooked den go to e pool beside our camp to wash up in e dark b4 we go to slp. didnt do much on e 1st day.
it rained on e 1st night and i was desperately hoping tt mabbe e climb wud be cancelled but nope it didnt happen coz it stopped after a few hrs. it was a tough climb i tell u. all e trees and narrow paths.. high steps and climbing on all fours.. jumping and dodging overhead branches. legs so tired.. shoulders aching.. limited water supply.. constant perspiration but it's all worth it coz in e end e view frm e summit was beautiful! we finally reached e summit after 4hrs. had our lunch rested and took lotsa fotos b4 we had to decend.
e descend was much worse den ascend coz it was more scary. had to climb ladders e opp way.. with e help of ropes have to walk down some domes etc. however it was less tiring even thou my knees were aching like siao and i kip twisting my ankles. after reaching back at our camp we were given 1hr of rest time where we cud take a bath at e pool!! all of us rushed dere and "bathe". water was so cooling.
at night we had a simulated campfire coz we were nt allowed to burn anything so dey used torchlights as e fire and each of us were given a light stick each. so cute. do usual campfire stuffs la.. sing songs dance. we had this rumour section where dey tell us abt rumours abt odac ppl. totally crappy coz alot of it were nt true.. well rumours what. super nonsense and azhar kept creating "evidence" to prove tt e rumours were true. but it was quite funny. after e campfire we sat ard in grps to play cards and talk. played truth or truth but it was crap coz it ended up becoming talking session coz all of us digressed and tok abt other stuff in e end.
on e last day we packed our things ready to descend to e bottom. on our way.. we went to a waterfall. this is like one of e occasional times where u totally understand e beauty of nature and totally appreciate geography. after tt we walked further down to a pool where we played in e water and dere was a little waterfall. so refreshing and fun but i kip feeling fish on my legs and it was totally disgusting. i dun like fish.
e bus ride back to spore was fun too. played cards tok nonsense helped joanne clean a little cut on her foot laugh like siao etc. oh and i brought back some ophir dirt in my nails and chlorinated ophir stream water in my bottle. how nice.
when we reached sch every1 was feeling super high and began boasting like siao saying tt it was easy to climb mt ophir. super funny. den we unpacked everything tt does nt belong to us.. eg. packets of cookies ropes tentage wadeva den home swt home!!! however we still have to go back sch on wed for reflection session and mabbe help clean up.
overall i didnt regret going for e trip coz i totally enjoyed myself. most of us didnt shit thruout e trip and literally we were all full of shit. i also realised tt certain ppl whom i tot was nt nice is actually quite nice. :)
