stardust 2008 was a success la. like omg wow, even though i didnt do much. LOL practically slack through the whole organising thing coz ticketing is, SLACK.

so the day started where everyone is supposed to meet at the arena at 11am coz there was some briefing on what we're supposed to do. BUT coz of kbox with the hpy, i overslpt and only woke up at 1030am. so i was totally shocked, quickly jump out of bed, prepare myself and throw all the nonsense i need into a bag and cab down to clarke quay. totally wasted $15 can coz actually only a few ppl were on time and there were ppl who only reached in the afternn lor. so heartpain la ohmy $15 gone to waste.

basically i was just slacking ard, watching the bands/soloists do their sound checks, walk ard aimlessly coz i dont really know any1 that well. some of them dont even know my name and neither do i know theirs. HOHO, BEST. played ds and went for lunch with some ppl after tt. started making new friends and all. :D

came back and had to prepare the programmes booklet by slotting all the nonsense vouchers into them, which in the end i didnt really give out to many. LOL waste our efforts la. some of the comm members managed to get their hair done by the stylists but i didnt coz they had to leave liao. anw i dont think my hair needs to be done la, so nice liao....... NOTTTT!!!
so my duty for the night was to... stand at the entrance and give out voting slips to each and everyone and explain to them wth were the 2 pieces of paper for. keep repeating myself for dunno how many million times until my voice was almost gone la! the most exciting thing is my sis's friends recognised me and said hi. WOW! and i saw my ltnc pri sch friend. also some random ppl like bren and ******. HAHAHA LMAO. and some woman tot i worked in the arena and referred to the bouncers as my colleagues. YA SURE.

managed to finish giving out the slips only after ALL the solists finished performing la so i think i was standing for close to 2hrs can. after tt went in to watch the rest of the perf and some of the bands are quite good while a certain one is omg-wth-is-gg-on kinda chui la.


after the event it was major camwhore time! took many photos with the comm members, as if we were vv good friends. time to be friends with them la coz i realised all of them are quite nice and funny.
we drank and danced ard. by the end of the night i was freaking giddy and cant really walk straight liao but at least i was aware of whats gg on. so not drunk yet. HOHO.

totally enjoyed myself tt night la. lking forward to comm dinner/whatever gathering. hopefully wont clash with any shit (eg. tuition URGHHH).
