it's more of the way they do things at starhub. unlike singtel, when u take the queue number at the starhub counter, they do not ask u what phone u're interested in getting. they just asked for ur ic and the phone number, tell u the approx waiting time and then u just hafta wait till it's ur turn.
coz it's a wkend, there were tons of ppl waiting at the centre. my family and i waited for more than 1hr before it was our turn. from fully packed till it was almost empty and they off the air-con way before closing so it was a little stuffy. the waiting experience was horrible. even though they had lcd for us to watch some random boring show but i was sitting back facing it, cant be entertained. no music to sooth the atmosphere, feel super pek cek throughout coz damn long.
finally after waiting for almost 1hr 15min, our number flashed on the screen. but to our horror, the phone my sis and bro wanted to get were oos. KNNNNN. really damn fucking pissed! no wonder we had to wait for so damn long, i bet most of the ppl were told the phones they wanted was na and had to think of an alt there and then. furthermore the available choices were vvvvvv limited. each person definitely took more than 15min to be served. when my bro finished choosing his phone, we had to wait for super long for the person to take a new phone frm the store, slowly check the phone to ensure tt it's functioning properly etc, almost 15min i think.
overall the whole experience just sucksssssssss totally. luckily my line is with singtel, dont wanna step into starhub ever again. at least when i queued for singtel, another lady served the ppl in the queue before we reached the counter and checked whether the phone i wanted was available. i didnt have to wait for 1 hr before i was told the bad news. somemore i can also reserve the phone and they'll call me when they have stock.
singtel is still besttt.
