the day started with checking in to the chalet in the early afternn with bren qian and kt. despite sleeping for only 4 hours, he was still willing to wake up and come help us do some grocery shopping after tt. i thought we will need him to carry all the heavy grocery but after that decided that the best way to transport the stuff back was to push the trolley frm e-hub back to aranda. however he did help to carry the heavy box with food to be bbq back to the chalet when the man delivered it.
i was putting on my own makeup and changing into my clothes for the birthday celebration. just a plain black tank and a cute ruffled skirt from topshop. lovelove the ruffled skirt which cost me quite a bomb imo. was contemplating whether to buy it when i first came across it a few days before my birthday, however i was also super worried that i may not find anything else to wear so i decided to purchase it. quite an impulsive buy i must say but luckily it's really cute and i'm loving it.
after which was spent slacking ard and take photos while waiting for other friends to come. as expected, almost all of them were late. i was almost friendless up till ard 730 when they start to slowly turn up despite the fact tt i said to come at 6pm. den take photos, bbq food, socialise abit and more slacking ard. den my head started to ache. initially i tot it was the smoke frm bbq but after tt i realised it was due to my v tight hairband. but v vain, i cont wearing it despite having a headache which makes me feel v restless.
cake cutting was ard 11pm and the friends sang v nice birthday song for me, hahaha. it was followed by a series of phototaking with different groups of friends ranging from nus friends, jc friends to friends in smu and friends who were frm temasek sec, totally nonsensical. thanks for making me feel like a star plsss so many ppl wanna take photos with me, HAHA. :Dstrawberry shortcake

thank you alll who turned up for my 21st birthday celebration. especially bren qian and my jc class guys who helped out during the bbq, gandong pls. even though it was kinda messy and not too entertaining, i hope everyone enjoyed themselves, just mingling and getting to know one another better and discovering fascinating info abt some ppl during the "i-never" game. hahahaha
i'm lking forward to gg to other's 21st bday and just relax instead of having to worry abt the preparations etc!
